Pre-k Teacher, Ms. Jasmine
My name is Ms. Jasmine, and I am so excited to be teaching at Blossoming Buds as the lead Pre-K teacher! I am originally from Minnesota, where I first discovered my love of teaching as a figure skating coach for beginning skaters. After high school, I moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree and certification in Elementary Education. During my time at DePaul, I was lucky enough to work as a summer camp counselor and nanny, and I discovered that my true passion lies in working with preschool-aged children. I love the creativity and curiosity that they bring to learning! I have had the pleasure of teaching preschool in Chicago these last five years. In addition to teaching preschool, I also taught an after-school yoga program in both Chicago public and private schools. Outside of school, I love riding my bike, finding new coffee shops, going to concerts, and hanging with my cat, Cooper! I am thrilled to be moving to Seattle and joining the Blossoming Buds community!
