Sprouts & Buds Lead Teacher and School Manager, Mrs. Kelly
Hello there! I am Mrs. Kelly, and I am the lead teacher for the Sprouts class and the Buds class. Working with children has always been a huge passion, so I am thrilled to teach at Blossoming Buds Preschool another year! I have an AA degree with an emphasis in elementary education. I started at Blossoming Buds as a summer camp assistant and a long-term sub for the Buds/Sprouts classes. I was then promoted to the assistant teacher for the Pre-K program, which was terrific; I have loved the opportunity to work with kids of so many different age ranges. In fall 2016, I was promoted again and began teaching lead for our Sprouts program. Being a lead teacher has added so much to my knowledge and skills as a teacher that I couldn’t be happier to come back each year to share my knowledge with each student and amazing families. This year, I am now thrilled to be leading both the Buds and Sprouts classes! Assisting the Buds class for so many years has given me so much knowledge on this age. I love the Buds and Sprouts ages so much; there is so much learning going on every single day. Our classroom radiates joy from making new friends to gaining independence. Outside of preschool, a few years ago, I spent a year as an au pair in France, and while my French is getting slightly rusty, my love for France and all things French certainly is not. My other love is the arts: theater and photography specifically. I am an outgoing and optimistic personality, and I’m looking forward to the privilege of teaching your children; I love this job!
